CAMPING

This past weekend we went camping with our good friends, the Cowdins! It was so nice to get away and relax up in the mountains. We did some fishing, hiking, and Geocaching! Moose has been in so much trouble lately, but we decided to be brave and take him along for the journey.....and he totally redeemed himself! He was actually pretty good! We love to camp, it was such a GREAT weekend, we had a blast!

5 Things we learned from our camping trip with the Cowdins.....

1.Boston wants to marry Kenley Cowdin, he says he "wuvs" her!

2. When you're hiking in the deep woods, a second coating of repellent is a GREAT idea, one isn't enough! Boston got eaten alive, I counted over 30 bites on one leg! (that makes me feel like a great mom!)

3. Moose isn't so bad after all, he can actually be a good dog!

But we also learned he can't swim for crap! Corey had to throw him in the lake, and we expected a nice graceful doggy paddle...what we got was the complete opposite! He splashed all the way back to the shore, pretty embarrassing for a Lab!

4. When cooking Hobo dinners over the fire, always remember to DOUBLE wrap the foil and turn them over half way through. Yep...you guess it! We ate char-broiled hobo dinners, YUMMM!

5. We also learned that we need a little more practice with our GPS! We went looking for a level 1 (beginner) Geo-cache. We must have spent an hour trying to get the coordinates to line up. We never did find that one...thank goodness for the ones we did find!
