Well, it's done. After a lot of thought, we decided to put our house up for sale 4 months ago. I have to admit, we never expected it to sale this fast...especially in this market!
It is definitely BITTER-SWEET!
BITTER: The thought of never coming home to this house again.
SWEET: Looking forward to building a new house and making new memories!
BITTER: Leaving some of our greatest friends in our ward and neighborhood.
SWEET: Hopefully building just a few streets away!
BITTER: Hours and hours of packing, boxing and labeling.
SWEET: A great opportunity to de-junk!
BITTER: The thought of starting all over with a yard to put in!
BITTER: The thought of starting all over with a yard to put in!
SWEET: There's nothing sweet about that...except maybe a bigger garden the 2nd time around!
BITTER: Having 2 weeks before we are homeless!
SWEET: Having wonderful parents who are letting us move in their basement for a few months!
We LOVE this house. We built it 5 years ago, and we have so many sweet memories here! Althought we are so sad to leave, we are excited to see what the future holds for our family, and definetely excited to get started on a new house!

Hi- I got your blog of of Kathy's. Hope you don't mind. Congrats on the house. It is sad to leave your old house! We just moved to Highland; I completely miss our old ward!! I need a hair cut in a major way! Any referrals that you have for Utah county? Let me know on my blog! Good luck on packing! You will be done and out before you know it!
I can't believe you sold your house! That is awesome! So does that mean you get to move in with your mom and dad? Does that mean you'll just be right down the street from me? Does that mean you'll be coming to our ward? Want to be a primary teacher :) J/K. Good luck with all the packing!
I hate moving!!!! Good luck with your new house that is exciting.
suz,
I can't believe Boston got pink eye too. I hate those eye drops. Mason would kick and scream bloody murder when we would put them in. im sure your boy likes them just as much too hu? good luck we are almost all better so hopefully not to much longer. Landon got the gel and he doesn't mind it so it isn't as bad. luckily i haven't gotten it though. see ya latter!
Congrats guys!
I hope the next few months are good to you! It's tough to be houseless and living with others!
Do you have any idea when your new house will be done?
Have fun building your new house! I hope you are able to get what you want!! You are such a great decorater and designer--your old house was so cute!
