Catching up

I know I have been a slacker lately, but I have been so busy with my new calling. Our ward Christmas Party is on Saturday night, I will be so glad when it's all done! I have been so busy making life size palm trees, a rock well, and tons of other decorations! I am really excited, and hopeful that everything goes as planned...I guess we'll see soon enough!

THANKSGIVING was great! We spent it in Arizona with Corey's family. It was so nice for us to get away and have some "down" time.......especially Corey! It has been a really tough semester. It was fun to see everyone, we miss them soooo much! We had such a GREAT time!

Other than that...we have just been running like crazy around here! Boston will be so fun for Christmas this year, now that he is old enough to understand the whole "Santa" thing. We made several trips to the mall, Boston was so excited to see Santa, but refused to go near him. When I asked him if he wanted to sit on Santa's lap, he said, "No mom, my just wave." I decided not to push the issue, and our third time seeing Santa at the mall he decided it was time. He still didn't sit on Santa's lap, but he stood next to him. He told Santa he wanted a dinosaur and a fire truck for Christmas! Ever since then, he wakes up everyday asking if Santa came to bring his toys.

We are so excited for Christmas.....it will be so much fun!
